Pete Rose divorcing wife of nearly 27 years in LA (AP)
LOS ANGELES – Court records exhibit Pete Rose has filed for separate from his spouse of nearly 27 years.
The 69-year-old past ballgame star cited irreconcilable differences for the split, but his asking did not offer some added details. A phone communication left for his attorney, carpenter Mannis, was not directly returned.
Rose is the game's all-time hits leader. He is currently serving a period forbiddance from baseball, and has admitted he bet on games in which he managed.
Rose and his ordinal wife, Carol, were mated in Apr 1984. He did not inform a date for their separation. His court filing is asking a judge to honor him every of memorabilia, including jewelry, he acquired before the marriage.
