Ailing San Antonio Spurs drop fourth in a row (Reuters)

SAN ANTONIO (Reuters) – NBA body San Antonio are encumbered in their long losing color of the flavour after a 100-92 expiration to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday without three key players attained the Spurs a ordinal consecutive defeat.

Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker were every sidelined with injuries as the Spurs (57-17) saw their advance in the Western Conference clipped to three and a half games over the surging Los Angeles Lakers.

While the losing color will be a vexation for the Spurs, of greater anxiety is the team's trauma list with incoming month's playoffs alacritous approaching.

Parker (knee) and Ginobili (left quad) uncomprehensible their first game and are due to be back presently but the timetable for Duncan's convey is uncharted after he suffered an ankle trauma last week.

Starting forward Antonio McDyess was also given a rest on Monday with the playoffs on the horizon.
