NHL suspends Kings forward Stoll for 1 game (AP)
TORONTO – Los Angeles Kings forward Jarret Stoll has been suspended for Sat night's playoff mettlesome at San Jose.
The NHL has suspended Stoll one day after he impact Sharks defenseman Ian White from behind in the inaugural mettlesome of the best-of-seven series. The impact came with 25 seconds to go in the prototypal punctuation weekday night. White mitt with an apparent head trauma and did not return.
Joe Pavelski scored 14:44 into period to provide the Sharks a 3-2 victory.
