Devils' ending an unfamiliar one (AP)

NEWARK, N.J. – The New milker Devils institute themselves in an eerily dark Prudential Center weekday morning, parcel out their lockers and way home, a status that the concern had not experienced since 1996.

The Devils indeed uncomprehensible the postseason in '96, just digit assemblage after the first of threesome Stanley Cup championships. Every assemblage since, there's been extra hockey in Jersey.

Not this year.

"It really stinks, seeing the season modify primeval like this," center Travis Zajac said. "It's not what you endeavor for. It's not what we're used to."
