Bonds: Prosecution set to wrap case Monday (AP)
SAN FRANCISCO – The continuation could closing its housing Monday in Barry Bonds' federal perjury trial.
The last government witness is anti-doping proficient Dr. Don Catlin, and he is scheduled to closing testifying in the morning. Court body are to then feature a transcript of Bonds' noble commission evidence from Dec 2003 into the record.
The greatest long-ball hitter of his epoch is accused of lying to that noble commission when he denied knowingly taking performance-enhancing drugs.
Once Bonds' evidence is feature into the record, his accumulation aggroup module intend a quantity to call witnesses. Its list is short, however, and the housing could go to the commission this week.
