Suns sign guard Dowdell through rest of season (AP)
PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns hit signed protect Zabian Dowdell (ZAY'-bee-in dow-DELL') through the remainder of the season.
Terms of the deal weren't declared Sunday.
The 6-foot-3 Dowdell has appeared in fivesome games with the Suns this flavour over the course of digit 10-day contracts, averaging 3.2 points, 1.8 assists and one steal in 10 transactions per game.
The 26-year-old Dowdell played for the Suns' entry in the Las Vegas Summer League in 2009 and 2010. He spent upbringing camp with the Suns before existence waived Oct. 19.
