MADRID – land Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero believes there is "no legal reason" to sanction Tour de France champion Alberto Contador over his constructive doping test.
Contador was bimanual a planned one-year forbiddance by the land cycling federation terminal period after investigating constructive for clenbuterol during the 2010 Tour. A test verdict is expected soon.
Zapatero says on the land government's Twitter feed that "there's no legal reason to reassert sanctioning Contador."
Contador claims he unintentionally exhausted the clenbuterol by eating septic meat and vows to appeal any ban. He could be empty of his ordinal Tour title if the forbiddance is applied.
