Young, Twins agree at $5,375,000 (AP)

MINNEAPOLIS – Outfielder Delmon Young and the Minnesota Twins avoided salary judgment by agreeing Wednesday to a one-year lessen worth $5,375,000.

The deal was just below the midpoint of the $6.25 meg Young had asked for and the $4.65 meg the Twins had offered when players and teams exchanged proposed judgment figures terminal month.

Young hit .298 terminal assemblage with 46 doubles, 21 homers and 112 RBIs, and he prefabricated $2.65 million.
