FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Evangelist Pelphrey desired to vent his frustrations mass a one-point expiration to Colony on Feb. 2.

Rather than doing so publicly, the Arkansas coach held his emotions in check. In his mind, it was the pertinent response for a leader during a time of crisis.

Pelphrey admitted his interference with the expiration during a news word on Monday, and he didn't kibosh there. The embattled fourth-year Razorbacks' coach defended the content of the information and vowed to put aside any right criticism and internal doubts he might hit agitated forward.

Arkansas reached the 15-win evaluation with a victory over LSU on Saturday. The win total is the maximal in threesome seasons for the once nationally striking program, which last reached the NCAA competition during Pelphrey's prototypal flavour in 2007-08.
