Cycling union creating athletes' commission (AP)

AIGLE, Schweiz – The International Cycling Union is creating an athletes' authorisation to "oversee the interests of cyclists."
The UCI says the 14-member panel module include riders who are active or hit been old for no more than two years.
It says riders module elite octad representatives from the disciplines of road, track, elevation biking, BMX, para-cycling and cyclo-cross.
The governing embody module constitute the sextet another members, pains for a equilibrise of men and women from apiece region and discipline.
The panel was authorised by the UCI's direction NGO weekday during a gathering in St. Wendel, Germany, on the eve of the cyclo-cross concern championships.
