Dates of 2 AP NFL awards switched (AP)

NEW YORK – Announcement dates are existence switched for The Associated Press NFL awards for Defensive Player of the Year and Comeback Player of the Year.
The swap is existence prefabricated to assist creation plans at NFL Network, which is televising the awards for the prototypal time.
Defensive Player will go first, on Monday night, Jan. 31.
Comeback Player will now be presented Saturday night, Feb. 5.

The revised awards schedule:
_Monday, Jan. 31: Defensive Player of the Year;
_Tuesday, Feb. 1: Offense Player of the Year;
_Wednesday, Feb. 2: Coach of the Year;
_Friday, Feb. 4: Offensive Rookie of the Year and Defensive Rookie of the Year;
_Saturday, Feb. 5: Comeback Player of the Year;
_Sunday, Feb. 6 : Most Valuable Player.
